T +one week

Wow, what a crazy few weeks that has been! We've just about come up for air following our first week open to the public. It was all hands on deck to get the front of house and kitchen ready. Huge thanks goes to our family and friends for all of their efforts to get us over the line. A particular word of thanks to Peter's dad Chris who put in Trojan work for the past two months.

We had two hugely enjoyable, if not nerve wrecking, practice nights where friends and family came from near and far to put the kitchen and the wait staff through their paces. We are so grateful for all the support we received - the words of encouragement, the good luck cards and thoughtful gifts.

Then came d-day. Tuesday 3 April 2018 is a date we will surely always remember. We have been bowled over by the positive feedback from our customers all week and have enjoyed reading the complimentary reviews. It's a huge testament to the hard work of the whole team and we'll be striving to keep it up and improve everywhere we can over the coming months.
